This Painting was inspired by the documentary about the Monarch butterfly's annual migration from North America to Mexico and back, explaining their life cycle and the mystery of how they get back to where they started, despite the fact that it is a new generation that returns.

• ​​Layers of thinly laid acrylic paint over acrylic mediums and collaged papers 
• Descriptive textural elements: cut papers, acrylic mediums, natural leaf parts
• Oil pastel highlights are added at the end of the process and the  painting is finished with a clear acrylic varnish for surface protection
