I find Petroglyphs and Pictographs to be fascinating remnants of ancient cultures from all over the world. One of the most famous of these large rock art examples is the famous Uffington White Horse, located in the county of Oxfordshire, England. This Bronze Age figure measures 360 feet in length and is carved into a hillside of naturally occurring chalk. I decided to incorporate this elegant and highly stylized figure into the aerial landscape because it is just so darn beautiful.
