Have you ever been on a long car trip where you are driving all day and well into the late night?  You do everything to keep awake as you see glimpses of landscape flash by; windows open, radio blasting, hair blowing all over the place, the can of Coke gets finished and tossed into the back of the car, coffee cups, roadmaps, candy wrappers, music, a sweater, your bag of trail mix tumbles.........

• Layers of thinly laid acrylic paint over acrylic mediums and collaged papers 
• Descriptive textural elements: cut papers, acrylic mediums,
• Oil pastel highlights are added at the end of the process and the  painting is finished with a clear acrylic varnish for surface protection
