I am fascinated by our abilities to look into deep space today. Sometimes I go online to take a peek at pictures from the Hubble telescope, National Geopraphic or the International Space Station. The images are breathtaking and I often use what I see as a springboard. And then there is always the question of the origin of the universe.

• Two  36 x 48 x 1.5 inch gallery wrap canvas - ​wired and ready to hang​
• Layers of thinly laid acrylic paint over acrylic mediums and collaged papers 
• Descriptive textural elements: cut papers, acrylic mediums, screening, mat board, wire, fabric, foil
• Oil pastel highlights are added at the end of the process and the  painting is finished with a clear acrylic varnish for surface protection
• The painting extends around all sides of the gallery wrapped canvas​
