I am tired by the time I get to my cabin on the lake, perhaps I have driven a long way and come directly from work. It's deep twilight as I get a glimpse of the water, then go directly to sleep. As I pour my morning coffee, I look out the window and remember with a smile and the sound of the crickets breaking the silence when I arrived last night.

• Layers of thinly laid acrylic paint over acrylic mediums and collaged papers 
• Descriptive textural elements: cut papers, acrylic mediums, screening, mat board, fabric, beads, foil
• Oil pastel highlights are added at the end of the process and the  painting is finished with a clear acrylic varnish for surface protection
• The painting extends around all sides of the gallery wrapped canvas​
