The history of civilization has always fascinated me. From the beginning of human history, mankind has developed meaningful ways to communicate, record knowledge, and understand the world through writing and numbers. What we utilize today is built upon the discoveries and achievements of countless generations before us.
Primal Count 100 was inspired by this long history of human ingenuity. The earliest known written number systems emerged around 3000 B.C., marking an important moment in our ability to record, organize, and communicate ideas. This painting reflects on the profound connection between those ancient beginnings and the systems of numbers and knowledge we continue to build upon today.
