There is something about hearing the sound of a singular, lone instrument drifting through the dark night air that feels magical. Every time I experience a musical gift in this way, I stop everything I am doing and allow it to take me into another world;  a world separated from my everyday life, that in the darkness and quiet of night allows my imagination to wander and my gratitude for this world to settle upon me with a feathery weight.
