What might the pages of God’s sketchbook have looked like as He, the scientist, the artist, the philosopher, the mathematician, the designer, formed the entirety of this earth and universe and then imparted his soul and spirit upon it?

This is the question I grapple with in a series of mixed media paintings entitled “Earth Code Genesis”. With acrylic paint and oil pastel I wonder out loud on paper. The visual image seeks to express the primordial nature of the elements as they are designed into being. The notations represent the revelation of God’s thoughts and knowledge as He proceeded. Some are discernable; others are not. We have, after all, only a very limited ability to understand all that God is and this is, in truth, such pure speculation on my part.
